Dravyaguna Vigyan

Dravyaguna Vigyan is a subject in Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) that studies medicinal plants, natural substances, and their therapeutic properties used in Ayurveda. It explains the Rasa (taste), Guna (qualities), Virya (potency), Vipaka (post-digestive effect), and Karma (action) of different drugs and herbs. The knowledge of Dravyaguna helps students understand how various natural medicines described in classical texts like Charaka Samhita are used for the prevention and treatment of diseases. ????
